Thread: Who wants an outdoor summer gig?

Here's the idea people. Hopefully this summer at some point I'm going to be putting on some sort of outdoor gig (hopefully). If anyone has any ideas on where this could be held, please post ur ideas. Thanks

Need MMMMASSSSSSSIIIVE PA for outdoor gigs dude. Probably talking 15kW. But you can sometimes get funding from local councils and businesses.

There wer bands playing outside last year in Cardiff like by Burger King and that, but only problem like what if it snows or rains, everyone be lovly and wet.

Dale, I'm going to see if Ponty Park is available, leave the permit and shit to me man! Marsy if it rains, or if some freak of weather causes it to snow, then there will be gazebos and shit up most probs. Aberdare Park will be shite to do, 1. Jocks and Townies! 2. The location is out of the way for most DN goers and 3. who would want to say, "yea i played aberdare park!" ?......

And glynhafod field? what you on?!?!?! lol, they ground is completely shit there, plus its too open, people can sneak in without paying and it is too close to houses. Will get lots of complaints.

ponty park is a good place to play i reckon. but there's probably only certain areas that are fenced off if you plan on charging people. if you need a hand with any sound issues i can probably help out cos I'm a sound engineer - i've worked over the pop factory, etc.
