Think Pretty New Member!

Hey Think Pretty are looking for a guitarist.Played first gig on 28th November this year ( if ya saw us don't let that put you off lol). Those who were there if you looked past the typical first gig faults I hope you can see the potential and what was trying to be achieved.Think Pretty was never meant to be a three piece but due to severe lack of interest and dedication by other people who tried out it forced me (Laura) to take on the role of singer/songwriter/guitarist which although I enjoy I admit is too much at this stage.

My influences include: Queen Adreena, Jack Off Jill, PJ Harvey, Daisy Chainsaw, Hole, Cave In, The Distillers, Korn (only up to Follow The Leader), Pretty Girls Make Graves.

Influences of drummer (Gemma) and bassist (Damon) include:
The Distillers, Defenestration, Pitschifter ( ? ) , The Clash, Blink 182, The Beach Boys, Rob Zombie, Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake.

The position is for a guitarist - not a second guitarist- once one is found I will step down from playing live and focus just on the singing. This does not mean I won't give input to guitar parts but it does mean that live I will no longer play guitar for the moment.

look in the freeads and go to look at the advertisments in music shops... u'l usually find guitarists pretty easily

Thanks for the offer but at the moment we think we may have filled the gap.Hopefully it will work out.If not I will definately be in touch.It's not a case of preference, well it's the fact that the person who has offered was good enough to step in as soon as we needed them.they also have the commitment to practice which is what we need at the moment.but for now things will remain quiet and we'll let you know of any important developments when necessary.thanks for all your interest.

it's an idea but at the moment it's only one but really do appreciate your enthusiasm. hopefully if we ever get some gigs together i'll see ya there.
