    Cardiff Mind Fest 23rd/24th of November!

    Cardiff MIND Fest is a weekend long festival featuring some amazing local and UK artists across three venues on 23rd/24th November 2013.

    Three local promoters (God Is In The TV Zine, Rockpie and Red Medicine) have grouped together to organise a two day event, with the aim of promoting awareness of mental health issues within South Wales. Working with three mental health partner organisations (Cardiff Mind, Journeys and Making Minds) in South Wales, raising funds for Cardiff Mind.

    Great news! Thanks to the kind people at Clwb Ifor Bach, Ticket holders for Cardiff MIND Fest will gain free entry to this Friday's awesomely noisy bill at Clwb Ifor Bach featuring Beard Of Wolves,Zinc Bukowski and This Is Wreckage and the club night afterwards, what's more Clwb have offered to donate door sales to Cardiff Mind Fest!     This weekend, 40 acts will take to the stage for Cardiff Mind Fest a new music festival that will increase awareness of mental health, as well as raising money for the Cardiff Mind charity. ‘Cardiff Mind Fest’ has been organised by three local music promoters –Rockpie, Red Medicine and Godisinthetv zine – with the support of local mental health organisations, including Journeys and Making Minds.

    Saturday showcases an eclectic bill that takes place at Undertone featuring among others the likes of Heavy Petting Zoo, Gwenno and The Gentle Good and Four Bars which will play host too We're No Heroes, Quiet Marauder, The Adelines, Howl and many more. Meanwhile Sunday takes place on both floors of The Moon club, upstairs sees the return of thrilling noise pop act Joanna Gruesome to Cardiff they are joined by The Milk Race and the Lash, whilst the acoustic stage plays host to Brighton's Chris T-T, poet Patrick Jones and an impressive bill of local acts including Welsh music prize winner Laurence Made Me Cry.
