Thread: places to gig in the valleys

Just wondering, where are some good places to play around the vallies, we have played cardiff a few times now, but I think would want to head more west. Any suggestions?

Also, if this is in the wrong section, sorry.

Aberdare seems to be putting on quite a few shows lately.. elliott's bar is the venue I usually see banded about

Used to be loads of gigs in rugby clubs etc, but that seems to have dried up in recent years

The Factory (i.e The Pop Factory) has started gigs again, but I think that's all external promoters.
Clwb Y Bont in Pontypridd do a few gigs too.

Elliots and the Rugby Club are both good venues in aberdare, and I think there gigs in a place called the Glan-something or other. The promoters for the Pop Factory are all on Facebook. Shadow Happy seems to be the main one

theres a rock night in blueberries in ponty every other friday not sure if they do gigs tho?

You need explain, they play doomy sludge and I can't see elliotts loving that kind of music.
