Camden Crawl wasnt really all indie was it - loads of hip/hop and grime, dance music, metal, punk - had a bit of everything

i'm pretty flattered that people are discussing our slot in such a way

we're not fussy. we just do our thing.

from me personally (my opinion and not that of the band)...

this post is not a moan and it is not meant to be negative.

...that said, it'd be nice to be on the same bill as bands that have a similar style. and also, on the same bill as other bands with whom we share a fanbase - thus satisfying all parties.

I've been waiting a long time for a holiday and i put back my surf trip by a fortnight to be able to do this. we can open at the barfly anytime to be honest - the clincher for me personally was that we'd be sharing the bill with midasuno.

I've personally not heard of the other bands that are playing the barfly the same night as us. that's not a reflection or a critique - as a band we've been wrapped up in our own little studio hermit mode for the last 8 weeks and we haven't had time to check out any new bands.

so i guess what i am saying is - with gratitiude for being offered a slot on this festival, and with gratitude for the opinions of people on this thread - if we can get a better slot than the opener on the barfly, please shift us!

I will keep my eyes peeled for your line-up change, get myself some tickets for that date and rock along to see you - seeing as I would have been there if Midasuno were still playing. Can't say fairer than that!
