Thread: Aberdare people

As you know I'm stopping the shows as money and my other job come into play so I'm going to do a few small shows just to finish things in the'dare. Not sure where yet but it will be sorted very soon.

Some people won't like it but it's where I started out 3 years ago so want to give something back to the place where it began for me

Any feedback would be great.

best place to do it would be the black now salts, the kings head is shite hole, the plez are only allowing 2 gigs upstairs, one is just to raise money for joy...and thats pretty much all the venues

Id choose the plez over the black. As larna says about black i agree with.

in fact if any of you had been to the black recently there has been a big improvement in sound in there.

I think they put alot of money into their equipment, maybe now they might see some reward.

unless jesus went there and performed a miracle i bet its not as good as anywher eelse...

anyway, thats not the only problem. The location of the stage. The fact if your around the corner its whack. The fact I have to parade accross the stage in order to go to the ladies. The fact they dont sell crisps... I could go on

well the stage has been moved, shack has his own PA in there and the sound is 100% improved. there are other issues ad i know fuck all about them .... but not selling crisps is a sin !

Enter Shikari mentioned the gig themselves to me not me asking them or anything. People want to see them so lets make it happen.

My last two shows have them playing due to them being on tour through an agent I work with and as main support

but i donnnt want tooooo....

im not saying its a bad thing u put them on all the time or whatever... i just dont wanna go see them and i dont care who else does cause im the boss

I'm going to do what I want really. I brought bands in from outside of the valleys before and Uk status and am keen to do the same.

3 years ago yeh they were crackin gigs, days in december i remeber u had on a fair times they were good what happened to them anyways
