nope, i will book one or 2 bands that i want to see, and then have a dj haha

as i have stated ...... why not take an active role in what you want to get played. takea CD (With a track listing) to the DJ and ask him to slip a few into his set. not a difficult thing to do.

I'll heed the advice - although I still think it would be nice if some of the 'dj's' around here played stuff that was a bit more varied anyway....

thats the thing, there is no DJ in shacks gigs really, he makes a mix CD of the things "he" enjoys and lets it play through, how is he to know what you like ? unless you tell him, or make a CD with that stuff on there.

I told him once! messaged him a list of songs I did, and he recieved it.... although I didn't actually turn up to the gig in question so I'm not sure how many of said songs he played...

well its not just songs i enjoy well, i try to put quite alot of the "popular" rock songs on there too. tbh on a mix cd I only like about a third of the cd really. But when I actually DJ i do infact play the music i enjoy

my birthday is in november, and the DJ will probs be a normal DJ so shitty pop music as well as music i wanna listen to haha

not always a mix cd, i was in the booth the other week and richie came up and asked me to put one or two tracks on.
