I enjoyed playing but the atmosphere was terrible...not just for us ( which i can understand) but all the bands i saw...the place felt really uncomfatable....

Yeah, the atmosphere wasn't great was it like. But to be honest, I think you went down quite well. Although some people did leave the room lol, but fuck it anyways.

shite turnout as expected without emo bollox on the bill. Assert ans swellbellys were really good but Assert were a bunch of cocks after the gig accusing us of stealing gear and getting shitty. We were the only band who stayed to watch em like. prickish more punk than thou attitude i thought. Swellbellys were a great bunch and real tight band. Drummer was amazing for a podgy little bugger ha.

I stayed as long as i cud..but i wasnt very well..mook made me laugh though..the lips stuck to my teeth crack was priceless..

the only contact i had with assert was when i walked in and one their band demanded i give them a hand with they gear...very polite.

The turnout was lame and the attitudes of the bands who were meant to come early (Savage Henry and Captain Smash) were even lamer lol

I should have seen it comin - like the cat corpse night in the black last week was dead. Perhaps there aint enough punks round this way, not since it went out of fashion lol. i had the shittest night of my life hehe but it was cool to see Swellbellys who were really good and try somethin different and was a good experiment and not borin as usual.

Reckon the best place for punk from now on is in raves lol.

Lol, what if we did come early? The equipment wasn't set up even when we were late like. I enjoyed all of it anyways. I don't blame the Assert guys for being tampin' but we were in a rock and a hard place aswell like, we didn't know if we'd picked up a stray bass in the first place.

But the turnout - I was happy to play to the people who turned up! All the bands went down pretty well and the audience, albeit small-ish, was good.

to be fair we were told that you guys were bringing the amps thats why we just supplied the pa speakers and the kit but you had the last laugh fuckin up Assert by nickin their bass heh heh
