my stance is as follows:

jay (4thST bassist) is one of my oldest friends. i love his work but by christ, that band do my head in. the music is fine, no problems there, inoffensive pub rock doesnt exactly float my boat. but the way they have turned their back on people thinking they know better his madness. they have little or no friends in the south wales music scene coz they do stuff like pull shows due to stage concerns!!!!!!! me and luke d have offered them shit loads of help for nothing. i know im not qualified as a promoter, but we know enough to get them a start, instead all i got is disrespect of some ginger guy telling me he's booked the manchester academy for 4th ST to HEADLINE and it will SELL OUT!! he fed the boys shit and they bought it. they've signed a record deal with three girls in a bedroom in merseyside who've bought internet space and can put songs online. fuck it, anyone on this forum could do the same, but i doubt they'd pretend like they've hit the big time.

needless to say the music fans from bargoed with ears will be in the stute this evening. see you there.
