Thread: LMT ep

The main problem I have with it is the production of it, its poorly recorded and that infuriated me because although i'm not keen on the band, if it was recorded better and polished off, it would at least past for an average emo band.

Its pretty typical stuff...however for such a small band, the 2nd track was at least abit different and track 3 is remotely good however, its nothing bands haven't done before, the screaming is very atreyu and theres little variation in the screaming(yes, it sounds like ur being violently sick) the singing is whiny...and there is no other variations....just singing and screaming which is boring and very metalcore(finch are a good example of how to add variation vocally - new album not old).

I found that when i put the cd on repeat, i found similarities in songs, you have a killer break down(bridge) in the 3rd song but guitar wise it sounds alike to bits in the other songs and the breakdown is only something i like because it sounds like from autumn to ashes(who until they recorded their new album...were samey as sin) which isn't good for you because that makes me feel you are unoriginal, which it's obvious you are.

If it had been better recorded, you would easily make it amongst all the other stuff i download, listen to once and leave on my pc but never actually buy. Until you find a direction or substance, it is always going to be that way.

By the way, mentioning 'heart' more than once in 4 songs should be banned along with a good 30percent of all your other lyrics that i could be bothered to make note of.

bloody hell, give them a chance they've only been round for a short time.

The fact we payed £80 for the 4 track, in all honesty i have no problem with the quality.

yea the quality for £80 isnt bad craig, just remember these are the first songs we have ever made up, weve only been learning out instruments for like 2 years.

and yea i know i suck and singing and screaming, thanks for pointing it out like 5 times in the above post.

well i reckon LMT are really good. so no complaints there

Just giving my honest opinion. By saying that you would settle in with downloaded songs of bands like The Hurt Process etc, who I consider to be bands who have toured alot and mastered their craft, well, you should be taking that as a compliment. I'm hoping you'll put some dinosaur screams in there one day.

In my tiredness I did want to say that its good for a first offering....but I forgot, I complimented you enough anyway :P

Our next demo will be next year sometime, it will be better than this one cause this was only the first, and we will pay more for the next one and get better quality
