Thread: WTF with the VMA's

when i was watching the VMA's just now, i noticed that the only rock band there were Green day, and My chemical romance
My chemical romance did a surprise performance which kicked ass
and green day played when the credits roled so they did show one bit of the performance
all the rest of the show was just R&B and Rap, nothing els!!!!
the best thing was when Green Day won best video, all the other nominees (who were all R&B people) looked at them as if to say "how could we loose to them" and i love what Billy joe said too

Theres got to be different types of music. And its nice when rap and r&b are in dominance it means that when a rock band does breakthrough into the commercial scene its usually cos theyre quite good and something different for the ears.

I gave up on the EMA's after the first one i watched!

Disturbingly Commerical, watered down, precitable and dull!

sorry to the people who like R&b and that but there is just too much of it

its like if you can sing they put a track on in the background and you sing with it

they are just taking over music and pushing other music out
