Thread: URGENT: Band needed for Toucan Club tomorrow night (Thurs Aug 4th)

Hello,

A band I represent and book gigs for in Wales were meant to be playing the Toucan Club (St. Mary Street, Cardiff) tomorrow night (Thursday 4th August), but have unfortunately had to cancel at short notice.

Therefore, the events organiser and myself are trying to look for someone to fill the gap.

Requirements: must be a band (no solo performers I'm afraid, unless they have a backing band) and can't be anything too heavy/punky. Anything funk-related and/or anything that is associated with world music is a plus.

Bands..... please don't be put off if you're worried about not pulling in a crowd..... Thursday nights ALWAYS pulls in a big crowd from the street and from the open mic night (preceding the band performance).

P.S. The main reason I post this thread in this forum is because someone I spoke to recommended MEA to me and said that the band may be interested in this offer. If that be the case, please contact me ASAP!
