MAYPOLE http://www.maypolehardcore.com/ is an Eindhoven (NL) based HC band. They've been playing since 1994 and they released their first official full-length Contradictions in 2001. Their style can be described as furious melodic oldschool HC-punk in the vein of Good Riddance, Pennywise and Biohazard. In January 2003 they've released their long expected follow up Burning in water, Drowning in flame.


DIE SO FLUID release their third single "Disconnected" in October – and it’s already had airplay on Radio One, XFM and Total Rock Radio. As melodic as the Pumpkins and as sonic as the Deftones, the dark alt-rockers re-emerge from the underground.
Drawing on influences ranging from The Deftones and Black Sabbath to Siouxsie Sioux and Hole, their music is a compelling mix of raw emotion laced with infectious melody. http://www.diesofluid.co.uk/

I downloaded some Maypole, very impressive stuff. Reminds me loads of Bigwig. I'll definately be at this show.

Cult of Celebrity have had to pospone due to flight arrangements the next day and not being able to get back to London in time. Local band Underscore are gonig to open up the gig instead and Die So Fluid are 2nd on. Maypole will have an earlier start this way.
