Thread: what guitar???

ok, on saturday arron is going to get a new guitar. He will have about 400-500 quid and he's currently undecided about which guitar to get.
So wot u think i shud get? I know jim and yogi will prolly have a debate about this, but it will be useful. My initial thoughts are an SA, but luke tells me those fernandez ones are nice, and i've always been tempted to master an SG...oh yeah and my guitar teacher reckons fenders and jacksons are good. Although i cud go for an esp. the possibilities are endless. any thoughts?

HAha HERE GOES; the fernandes are shit hot espesh the sustainers which have infinite sustain, only the headstock ain't too pretty , an sa is nice. My final suggestions:
A new gibson SG online is 500 quid nowadays, but an epi SG with a seymour duncan distortion? or A wine red fender double fat strat with a jazz pickup or simply an ESP viper with an EMG in, to be honest i'd go with the strat simply because it will have the closest playability to your old rocket in my possesion; hope i can help dude

yeah i really liked the neck on my old guitar, a strat may deffo be worth a try,but dont frenandez play similar to a strat? ill see. and yeah the viper i used for the two track was mighty nice so plus the SA, thats 3 guitars (fernandez, sa, viper((its nicer than an sg)). or for pure comdey value i could save for the yngwie malmsteen sig. strat hehe. cheers jim

Personally, i don't think i'm gonna get a new geetar for quite a while, i've fallen for ye olde SG again since my Jackson betrayed me and thought i'd be kool to break ye olde A string in sound check (which i still havn't re-strung). Bloody crazy tremolo marlarky; fun - but a pain in the arse. I'm tempted about this war pig humbucker, might jus get one for ye olde SG. Think that'll be it for a while.

Thinkin about it, you always seem to play my SG wenever you get the chance, so why don't you jus get a viper??? you'll get used to the bridge thing, you did it at Frontline.
